following major developmental activities have taken along the coast of Maharashtra :

About 10-15 Industries have been set up in coastal area, such as, JSW jetty in Dharamtar Creek, Welspun Industries in Revdanda Creek, Dighi Port Ltd. at Dighi and Das Offshore Pvt. Ltd., at Rohini in Rajpuri creek, Dist. Raigad

RGPPL – Dabhol, Bharati Shipyard in Dabhol Creek, Angre Port Ltd., JSW at Jaigad in Jaigad Creek, Finolex Industries, Ranpar/Pawas all in Dist. Ratnagiri

Redi Port Ltd. at Redi in Dist. Sindhudurg.

In addition, various other maritime infrastructure activities like inland water transport, marinas for tourism purpose, shipyards and shipbreaking yards, marine training institute are envisaged along the coast of Maharashtra.
